That day was raining.
You and I were crying
As you were leaving.
You said you would be coming
Back before Lunar New Year unless it's raining.
So I kept waiting
Until one day, I was tearing.
The sun was hiding;
The sky was darkening.
The rain was crying;
The wind was blowing.
Everyone was sighing;
Everywhere was shadowing.
The whole world was sorrowing
For what was happening.
Now outside is still raining
And I am still crying
As you are lying.
I hope you are only joking
But not leaving
Me behind crying
Like the rain now is falling.

Your peom indicates that you love your grandmother very much. Her image has deep-rooted in your heart. When you think of her, you find her sweet. Let her smiling face and kind heart linger in your heart for long. You must know that she also love you in return.
ReplyDeleteI believe she always encourages you to work hard and serve the world with your talent. She will smile at your successes no matter where she is now.
I really love my grandmother. I was brought up by my grandmother. When she was sick at China, I was sitting for my second last mid-year exams in Hong Kong. Yet because I promised her that I would finish the exams and would show her a good report card when she came back from her vocation in China, all my grandmother's relatives except me flew back to China. In the morning following my last day of exam, I was planning to fly to China, but I received a call from my relative telling me my grandmother was dead. I have been blaming myself for my decision on keeping the promise of finishing the exams. Every time I look at that particular report card, my tears drop...
